Position Description:


The selected candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies and will have been delivering Microsoft End-user Training for more than 2 years. We are looking for an individual who has industry experience using Microsoft technologies in addition to classroom training experience. This is a freelanced training position with opportunities to delivery 2 to 4 days per week.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct on-going, Microsoft end-user training classes for various clients onsite and at our classroom locations.
  • Maintains personal knowledge of current trends in training, technology and applications and makes recommendations for enhancements to programs if required.
  • Engage in regional and national projects relating to candidate subject matter expertise
  • Provide SME support to local team and clients as required

Qualifications:


  • Relevant industry experience, including training in a group settings and supporting computer applications, or any combination of training, education and experience which provides similar knowledge, abilities and skills
  • Three years Microsoft End-user Training experience required, prefer training experience in an organizational or enterprise environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training methods and best practices for end-user training on application software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

Account Manager

Job Location: Vancouver, Winnipeg

Position Description:


This individual is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory and is responsible for personally contacting and securing new business accounts/customers. The Account Manager develops and implements an agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. They work within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. The ideal candidate achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and related services.

Position Duties:


  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.

Qualifications:

Position Description:

The selected candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies and will have been a Microsoft Certified Trainer for a minimum of 3 years. We are looking for an individual who has industry experience using Microsoft technologies in addition to classroom training experience. This is a contract training position but we can offer a regular schedule of classes for qualified individuals.


Position Duties:


  • Conduct on-going, regular Microsoft technical training classes for various clients onsite and at our classroom locations.
  • Maintains personal knowledge of current trends in training, technology and applications and makes recommendations for enhancements to programs as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years experience in related field, including experience training in a group settings and supporting computer applications, or any combination of training, education and experience which provides similar knowledge, abilities and skills
  • Three years Microsoft Certified Training experience required, prefer training experience in an organizational or enterprise environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training methods and best practices for user training on application software including thorough understanding of training techniques on Microsoft technology
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards

Position Description:


Individuals interested in teaching adults must have superior communication and interpersonal skills. An educator should be able to think critically and creatively and show competency in those subject areas being taught, as well as, the ability to foster a creative learning environment. Instructors are expected to stay abreast of current teaching standards, techniques, and modern technologies which are used in the classroom. These are including but not limited to: computer software, ceiling-mounted or desk-top projectors, and general clerical equipment. Instructors must prepare and deliver lectures to students while dispensing the required information to students in a systematic and sequential format. Instructors are responsible for classroom management and will train their students to solve problems, plan futures, strategize and transform possibilities into reality by acting as coaches and mentors. Instructors are to ensure students are able to integrate new ideas with previous knowledge to provide the real-life application of the new material and concepts. It is important for instructors to clarify and articulate all course and classroom expectations to students prior to getting into the course content.

Position Duties:


  • Identifying the needs of students and adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Preparing lesson plans appropriate to the size and type of learner group
  • Developing and preparing appropriate learning materials
  • Teaching students through lectures, lessons, workshops and exercises to suit the size and learning needs of the group
  • Evaluating the outcomes of individuals’ learning through formal assessment or informal methods and ensuring constructive feedback is given
